This Charity is dedicated to the memory of Alan Charles Senitt murdered in Washington DC on 9th July 2006 whilst defending a friend. The core purpose of the trust is for it to be a testimony to and the perpetuation of the life, work, values and aspirations of Alan for the benefit of future generations.
The values of the trust are set out in 6 objects:

2. |
To advance the education and training , for public benefit, of those persons working or wanting to work in the areas of community relations, international relations, youth work, community leadership and interfaith dialogue including but not exclusively by the provision of grants for relevant courses. |
3. |
To promote and actively encourage religious harmony for the public benefit. |
4. |
To assist in the provision of facilities for sport, recreation or other leisure time occupations of such persons who have need for such facilities by reason of their youth, age, infirmity or disablement, poverty or social or economic circumstances or for the public at large in the interest of social welfare and with the object of improving their conditions of life. |
